MRHD Consulting is led by Dr Miles Davis. Miles has over 15 years experience in working with micro companies, SMEs and universities in identifying, applying for and winning funding.

After completing his PhD, Miles worked as an environmental consultant at WRc plc where he successfully won funding for and delivered projects for a range of Government clients and industry partners. After leaving WRc plc, Miles joined the University of Bath, a leading UK research intensive university in 2006. Miles worked for over 8 years in a variety of roles across the research, innovation and commercialisation landscape; managing the Enterprise and Knowledge Exploitation team comprising of the University of Bath Innovation Centre, Research Commercialisation and Business Development teams. Latterly, Miles managed 16 staff and contractors as the Head of Research Development and Knowledge Exchange.

Miles has worked extensively with companies of all sizes from start-ups to global multinationals and academic staff to find appropriate funding, develop, review, write and submit proposals resulting in the delivery of tens of millions of pounds of funding to partners. He has also project managed large multi-partner programmes involving industry and universities. From his academic background and professional roles, Miles has technical understanding in a number of areas including wastewater treatment, environmental toxicology, toxicology, renewable energy and sustainability.
